Can a do-it-yourselfer
install the lamp posts or do I need to hire an electrician?

There are two ways to
order and install our lamps:
|
|
1.
|
We can supply with basic 3-prong
plug that you run to your house. This is good if you want
to try different locations before settling on a final one.
|
|
|
2.
|
The post comes pre-wired for 120V.
Use underground protected tech cable - buried 18" deep and
marked. Connect to house switch.
|
|
|
NOTE: Always obey local
electrical codes.
NOTE: If you do not know how to work with
electricity, hire an electrician
|

Are the lamp posts
CSA approved and tested?
|
|
|
We are currently in
the process of obtaining CSA approval. Presently, our lamp
posts are inspected by the Electrical Safety Branch of the
BC Minister of Municipal Affairs for proper operation and approval
of code. Further documentation is available upon request.

What is the lead
time and how are they delivered?
|
|
|
Standard lead time for
Victorian, Victorian Holland, and Victorian New Holland is
3-4 weeks. Broadway, Broadway Holland, and Broadway New Holland
lead time is 6-8 weeks.
NOTE: Options, colours, and quantity ordered may change
lead times, ask our representatives. We ship the lamp post
crated via 3rd party freight
to anywhere in BC, FOB Parksville B.C. Please ask us about freight
rates.

Are custom colours
and designs available?
|
|
|
Standard colors are
White, Black, and Green but any colour is available, ask
our representatives for a custom quote. All surfaces are
treated
with high quality powdered coating for a finish that will
last for years.
If you have a specific design in mind for
the lamp
post base, we can design a pattern (which you would then
own) of almost anything your imagination can come up with.
Examples include cowboys, dragons and orchard trees. Pattern
charges vary - let us give you a quote.

monitored to make sure our exact specifications are met..
